My wife and I used Grantleigh homes a few years ago (it was our first build we had no idea where to start) and we have not regretted at all, they came to us by recommendation and from the first meeting we had with Paul till the project was completed it was one of the best experiences. Paul was very professorial and advised us on what we should do and what not to waste money on. They came up with the drawings and the quote and a time frame. Once we approved and the A team rolled in with Jeff and his team of builders they were such a great bunch of guys, we had young kids and we didn't hear a single bad word said that you usually hear on building sites. In the process we made a few changes and nothing was difficult for them and most of the time the price didn't change either. The project finished on time as promised by GH's and on budget. We have had so many friends and family say what a great job they did. After so many years I still keep calling of Jeff and Paul to ask questions or advise and they have always been there for us.
One notable mention is that we had a leak from the skylight after the warranty had expired and I called Jeff to see who I can get to come and fix it, and his response was, " leave it to me, I will get one of the boys to come over after work and attend to it" and just like that it was done the next day and they didn't even charge us for it. We really need more builders like the team at Grantleigh Homes

“We found ourselves in a jam after using an architect to design our house. The final design was way over our budget. We were in despair having spent a considerable amount of money and time with the architect yet little to show for it apart from some drawings.
An article in a magazine drew our attention to Grantleigh Homes . We contacted them and they were willing to build to our plans. They worked with us on the original design to remove unnecessary and complicated work yet not compromise the core design of the house. The re-work resulted in a home that we could afford to build. They even showed us that they could build to the quality we wanted. From initial contact to now (several months after completion) Grantleigh have showed the utmost professional attitude. Advice was always practical and our strange ideas accommodated as much as possible! Grantleigh always paid particular attention to the quality of sub contractor work.

“We would like to express our gratitude for making the experience of building our new home a trouble-free and uncomplicated experience.
It all started a number of years ago where we had an idea for a house, no real house plans and no land. When we did come across a prospective block of land, you were always receptive in helping us understand what the end result would be for that particular address. Once we were underway it was never too much trouble for us to request meetings to discuss changes and upgrades. Paul and Jeff were always available to give advice and suggest better ways of completing the changes.
The staff in the office, Georgina and Jason, were also always very willing and on hand to help and answer questions. All messages left for them were returned in good time. On the day that we received the keys to our new home Paul was there with not only the keys on a great looking keyring, but a wonderful basket full of goodies to welcome us to our new place.
The after service could not be faulted either. The list of maintenance items were promptly corrected and brought back to new. Even as far as more than a year after moving in, the cover off the rangehood flute flew off in high winds and Grantleigh was back to fix and no cost. All of us hear of many instances where the experience of building a new home is so traumatic that most would not want to go through the experience ever again. Not so with our experience of Grantleigh Homes. It was painfree!
